| Ok yeah its been forever since i posted anything here. I kinda forgot it existed. Been really busy lately. Between working for IBM, Cheaspeake and now building a wedding website I spend all my time in front of the computer programing. Its good and bad i'm spending so much time working. Keeps me out of nicole's hair so she can study for her gbos and I'm either making money or learning new skills that i can put on my resume. On the other hand there have been times where i am kinda sick of sitting in front of a computer.
The wedding website is comming along pretty well. I've been working on it for the past 2-3 weeks now and i think its looking pretty good. Its kinda annoying that the parts of the site that most people wouldn't find that interesting are what takes the most amount of time to make. I spent most of my time working on the planning section and it doesn't look like much but its pretty damn powerful since it is dynamic. Plus its the section thats gotta be closed off from view soon since we may start using it to plan the wedding soon. Its been fun working on the site since this is one area where i am totally in charge which is a nice change from the office where i have to make things look and behave based on what other people think is right and not what i think is right.
Still working for cheaspeake. I don't know why i am still working for them except the extra money is good. I tell myself that i'm only going to work another month but we shall see. The extra money is nice even though i haven't gotten to spend it on anything. The money means we can have more freedom with the wedding or have a nicer honeymoon. Who knows what that is going to be yet. Nicole really wants to do something but right now my reaction is kinda blah. We'll see.
ok i guess i should go do work. maybe i'll write in here again soon.

| and further adding to todays awesomeness is that its BONUS DAY. I got a bonus. it aint much but pretty damn cool. I'm going to think of this as my birthday gift from ibm

| today's fun thing i saw on the road to work was a tank. Not a new tank but a tank nevertheless was being transported on the washington beltway. I of course had to get behind it just to see how it looked with a tank cannon pointed at me. An interesting view to say.

| LOL i just got done opening a can of green beans with a hammer and screwdriver. I don't have a can opener at my new place so i had to improvise. go me.

| So me and nicole spent the weekend painting the new apartment. Also we bought a new entertianment center and desk for the living room. Although it we didn't need the two pecies of furniture i'm glad we got them because they look pretty nice. Sadly it took me all day saturday to put both of them together while in the same amount of time nicole managed to paint the first coat in the kitchen and the dining room. That night we went to brad and courtneys place for dinner where they made kalbi which was great. Its gonna be nice living close to them. Sunday was a much more relaxing day since we got a later start and just painted the living room and a second coat in the kitchen.
On a related not it looks like i am moving out of my reston place this weekend. Aparently one of the people looking at the room wanted to know if it was possible for him to move in earlier. So ada asked me if i was flexible and would be able to move out earlier. I agreeded since i figure i can just suck it up and start driving if it means i save $250 in rent. Sunday night i got an email saying that deal fell through but whatever i'm still going to hold ada to the deal she cut with me. So for a week next week i will be in the new columbia place by myself before we move the rest of our stuff from the twinridge place.
